So this is for the ground level roller door that leads into the basement parking. Someone reversed into the roller door while it was closing and bent the bottom. When trying to close, as it reaches 1 feet away from the ground it will automatically open up again. And it will repeat the cycle. I’m guessing it’s because the bent (see picture below) has triggered the sensor to roll it up again. I don’t know how to turn it off so I bent the sensor slightly up to force the door to remain open all the time until it gets repaired. There’s two things that we’d like done: Firstly, is to repair the roller door of course. And secondly, to adjust the timer. Currently it’s set to open during business hours Monday to Saturday. However, we would like to adjust the time to open: Mon-Sat 8:30am to 5:30pm and Sun 8:30am to 1:30pm as there are two shops that still trade on Sundays. Also, to find out if this timer adjust itself to take into account daylight savings hours. At the moment we have no idea if it has this feature or if someone gets called out to adjust it without our knowledge. A text message will be appreciated when a technician is on site. If I am not available to meet with the technician tomorrow morning I’ll arrange someone else so the technician can clarify how the timer works. Otherwise, there shouldn’t be any problems accessing the roller door. There is a commercial bay parking spot to the left of the driveway/roller door which they can park their vehicle if it’s available.
A text message will be appreciated when a technician is on site.
